Mursion (2015 - 2022)
Mursion is a human-in-the-loop experiential learning platform, where professionals can practice, learn and master the essential skills needed to be effective in high stake careers. Mursion’s unique technology leverages avatars (controlled in realtime by humans or digital puppeteers), to help measure, predict, and improve interpersonal effectiveness. As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Mursion, I was fortunate enough to lead several excellent development teams spread across the world. I enjoyed innovating, architecting and continuously evolving the VR platform while interfacing between the various teams across the organization to develop an effective, wide-reaching and user-friendly product.
Major Achievements: Since being founded in 2015, Mursion won numerous awards for technological excellence including "Best Unique Learning and Development Program” with Best Western Hotels and Resorts for successfully training over 12,000 front desk clerks across North America. Mursion is now used by several Fortune 1000 companies. Towards the end of my 9 year stint, I was developing human-labeled analytics to help people understand and learn the subtleties and nuances of inter-personal interaction, which resulted in a Nature publication. I stepped down from my role following this work to pursue other exciting life adventures!
